Budynek Ratusza przetrwał zagładę miasta w stosunkowo dobrym stanie, chociaż na fasadzie widać ¶lady destrukcji i ostrzeliwania. Po prawej stronie człowiek z opask± na ramieniu. Po wojnie wszyscy obywatele niemieccy, którzy pozostali jeszcze w ruinach miasta, musieli nosić specjalne opaski. Sytuacja taka trwała do końca 1946 roku kiedy to nieomal wszyscy Niemcy zostali wysiedleni z miasta i wysłani w gł±b Rzeszy.

Townhall (Ratusz) in May 1945
Amazingly, Ratusz, although battered, survived the siege of Festung Breslau in relatively good condition. Note the man to the right, wearing a white bandana on his sleeve. For a few months after the end of the war the Germans still living in the city were required to wear them. It didn't matter much after 1946 since the Russians expelled all Germans from Wroclaw and sent them deep into Germany.
